Shree said "Open up ! Open Up! Don't do this to me! Oh... Come on". She turned the handle left , right, pushed , pulled but couldn't open. Suddenly the door opened and she got relaxed as she thought she opened the door. When she opened and came in , she realized that the determined gentle man had opened the door. Though Shree felt shy for not opening the door, She smiled and said "Thank you Sir and Sorry I made you to get up and open the door". The gentle man said "That's fine , No issues". Shree said " If you don't mind , Can you tell me how you opened the door ?". The gentle man smiled and stood up. He taught Shree how to open the door. It was simple , but something got stuck when she opened the door. Shree said "Can I try now?". The gentle man said "Oh sure!". Shree went out and again opened the door. Both gentle man smiled at each other and said "You can take your seat". Shree said "Thanks". The other gentle man said "Give an intro about you". Shree started to tell about her. Both the gentle man had Shree's resume copy and was looking deeply into it . The determined gentle man said "Your score in Maths and your subjects are quite impressive". Shree smiled and nodded. The cool gentle man smiled looking at her CV and said "I see .. ...so you were the winner in national level folk dance, Could you share about your experience about that?". Shree explained everything about the national level competition held in Gujarat and her experience. She said that she also felt proud to represent Tamilnadu in the event. Both gentle men heard everything and said "That's great ". The determined gentle man asked "I have a question for you , I can see that you are a science student, You very well know that this job is all about banking, So will you able to manage?". Shree said "I know , It is a great challenge, I will definitely face it , and no doubt.......... I can excel".
What if I say , you failed in this interview?
The cool gentle man said "Okay.... So.. Being a science student , Why are you here?". Shree said "I am here because , I need a job". The determined guy said "Why this job ?". Shree said "I just need a job and attending interviews, I had set my mind to whatever I get , I am in a position to take it and excel in that ?". The cool guy asked "You are just a degree holder and you could have continued your studies instead of coming here Right ?". Shree gave a wide smile and said "I want to give a very simple answer for your question and it is ' No money , No higher studies, Need money , Need a job'". The two gentle man looked at her for a minute. The determined person said "What if I say , you are failed in this interview?". Shree smiled and said "I just go and attend interviews in other companies. Till I get a job , It goes on...". The cool guy smiled and said "So, You say ...due to your financial issues ,you are here , Suppose you are from a wealthy family, What will you do after your degree?". Shree smiled and said "If I were wealthy , definitely I would have done my higher studies and will be a Professor in a college. That's my aim and dream". The determined guy said "I can feel your passion to become a professor while you saying this. I don't think that you can work with satisfaction here. You would definitely bethink your dream and cannot work with full determination".
I have passion towards my dream and everyone has it !
Shree said " Sir ! I am a straight forward person , as you asked, I told everything what I thought in my mind. Yes sure , I have a passion towards my dream and everyone has it , But when it doesn't happen , I won't stick to it and bethink about that". and continued "I like to tell you one thing , When I finished my tenth standard , I like to continue in the same school, but I couldn't. I joined a government school which is entirely different to my school, I just adapt to that situation and scored a high marks in my higher secondary . After my higher secondary , my dream is to join Engineering, It didn't happen due to some personal issues. I joined B.Sc Physics in a college in my town. And now , I am expecting University first rank.". There was a silence for few seconds. Shree continued "I think , I answered your question. Life is 10 Pct... what happens to us and 90 Pct.. how we react to it". and looked both the gentle man , They seemed to be very much satisfied by her answer. The determined guy asked "Do you have any idea about this job?". Shree said "I know nothing about it. I would appreciate if you can explain about that". The cool guy started explaining about the job and asked "Do you have computer knowledge ? What about your typing skills?". Shree said "I think , I could definitely manage with typing and computer". Both the men nodded their heads.
Netherland Processing !
Shree stood silent. The determined guy seeing her resume asked "How do you know this company ? Internet ? Friend ?..". Shree said "My sister's friend been working in this bank and her room mate too works here. Everyone says , it is a pride working here. They gave a very good feedback about the company which made me still more curious to get a job here " and smiled. The determined gentle man read the resume "Reference Valli, NLP, So.. she is your sister's friend ?". Shree said "Yes". The gentle man saw Shree curiously and asked "What is NLP means ?". Shree with her heart full of joy and happiness said " It is Netherland Processing". The cool gentleman's eyes became bright and said "That's fantastic". Shree smiled. The determined guy said "Good going. You'll be informed if you been selected, Interview is done , You can go". Shree politely said "Thank you so much" and stood up. The determined guy followed her and opened the door. Shree said "It's okay sir! I can manage myself". The determined man smiled and said "I know ......" and opened the door. Shree thanked him and walked forward . She turned back and saw the man standing. He waived his hands and smiled. Shree smiled and left the place.
What your instincts says ?
She saw Akhila sitting outside and approached her. Akhila jumped and shot her with so many questions about the interview. Shree answered every question of her. Akhila asked "What your instinct says?. Will you get this job?". Shree said "I don't know what Raghavendra Swamy thinks about this , If he thinks if this job is good and I am worth it , I will definitely get this job". Akhila said "That's fine , I am not asking , what he thinks? what do you think?". Shree said "I don't want to think anything , because whatever I dream or think , it is not happening". Akhila stood silent for a minute. Shree understood that she was little upset of her answer and cheered her. Shree said "I performed well. Let us see what's going to happen and always hope for the best" and smiled. Both of them came down stairs and met the person in the reception. Shree asked the person "Can you tell me ...within how many days they will let us know the result of the interview?". The person said "Not more than a week. If you been called for a medical check up, It means you have been selected. All the best". Shree said "Thank you" . Akhila and Shree both left the office and reached the hostel. After three days Akhila came jumping , hugged Shree and kissed her. Shree asked "What happened to you?". Akhila said "Raghavendra sami decided that you should get this job and you are worth it". Shree smiled and her eyes glowed in happiness. She took the picture of Raghavendra Swamy and kept close to her heart. Akhila said "You start to our town ,Get ready for the job and relax yourself for a week ,It might take a week for you to join the work. I'll call you and let you know about that". Shree nodded and started to her town.
I'm dancing in happiness
On the way , Shree called Sai in a public telephone booth and told about that she got a job. Sai was so happy and was breathing heavily. Shree asked "what happened ? Are you running ?". Sai said "No..I am dancing in happiness". Shree asked "Did you know before... that I got a job?". Sai said "No, I got transferred from Banglore to Chennai. Now I am double happy". Shree was overwhelmed in happiness. Sai continued "Next week , I am starting to Chennai and joining the work". Shree wished him and said "I am on the way to town . Take care , Bye" and disconnected the phone. She reached the town and saw her dad waiting for her in the bus stand. They both went to their place in a Mini bus and took an auto to reach home. Shree didn't say that she been selected in the interview to her parents as Akhila insisted her not to tell anything till she officially get her offer letter. After a week , Shree been called by Akhila to come Chennai again to join her job. Before she start to Chennai , she went to meet her friends and bade bye to them. She also went to Sai's home and informed his mother and sister about the job. Sai's mother said "We are happy that you got the job?. What is the salary?". Shree swallowed and gave a fake smile. She said "I myself , don't know about that". Sai's mom with the tricky smile said "How come you don't know about that? I can't believe it". Shree too gave a wide smile, bade bye to them and left the place.
What if , Akhila found out this ?
She reached Chennai , by the time Sai too reached Chennai and joined his work. Sai lived in a place which is very far from Shree's place and it was an extreme end. Shree joined her work , everything was new. There was a week induction program for her. The second day , when she came out of the office , She was stunned to see Sai waiting for her. They both talked and walked to her place. Her hostel was 7 miles from her office , The time flew away like a blink of an eye being with Sai. When they came near the hostel , he gave a small kit to Shree . Shree asked "What is this? ". Sai smiled and said "Open it". Shree opened and saw a brand new slim mobile and a charger. Shree said "No. No .. What if Akhila found out this . She will make a big issue". Sai said "Akhila comes to hostel only at 8.00 pm right? So you can use the phone till that and switch off it at the night before she comes. You can use it in your office too. Keep it safe in your zipper inside your bag, so that she won't find it. Go to your room , If Akhila is not there , just call me". Shree nodded and in a half mind took the phone with her. As Akhila was not there , she turned on the mobile and made a first call from her mobile to Sai. She was happy that she got a mobile phone to talk to Sai , but at the same time , she was afraid of Akhila as if she was doing a great blunder. The days went by.
The Rank
Shree's dad called Akhila and said "Shree's graduation day been arriving in 15 days. So ask her to be ready for that". Akhila gave the phone to Shree and dad informed her the same . He also said in a great joy that she got the University First Rank. Shree jumped in happiness that she fulfilled the promise of the Prof. Mrs Sai lakshmi. She thanked god and tears of happiness streamed out of her eyes. Out of joy she couldn't talk to her dad. She disconnected the phone and went to upstairs. She closed her eyes. The past images and situations came into her mind. She thought how she struggled to get the seat in the college , the professor's promise, the best outgoing student award and finally the university rank. She was overjoyed. The next day , she went to the office , still she was in the training period. Suddenly her head rotated. Her stomach slightly ached. The pain got more intense and she couldn't sit. She felt like vomiting. She seek permission from her boss and returned to the hostel. She called Akhila and informed her. Akhila reached the hostel. They thought that was just a gastric trouble and took some home remedies and medicines. The pain got more intense at the night and the whole night , Shree couldn't sleep. The next day, Akhila informed leave in office and took her to the hospital. On the way , Shree vomited everything she ate in the morning. Now , Akhila was totally terrified and said "What happened to you?". Shree said "I don't know...........". They somehow reached the doctor's place.
And now , I can hear you saying "What happened to Shree ? Is something serious? ". And I say "Wait ..Wait .Patience . Till next Friday :)".
You come for me ..all the way here ?
Shree was scared and shouted "Oh no... Get up Sai .. Get up .. Why are you here? Please.. . Oh come on". There was no response from Sai. The young man hurried near Shree and asked "Shree!! What happened , Who is this?". Shree couldn't hear what he said and was crying. The man said "Pour some water on him". Shree was terribly shocked that she forgot to splash water on him. She , in a haste splashed the water and shouted "Come on , Come on , Get up...". All the time , the young man was watching Shree. Shree smiled through her tears. Sai slowly opened his eyes and moved. He could hear Shree's voice and responded in a husky voice. Shree shouted "I can hear you , Can u able to move, Are you hurt ?". Sai was out of his giddiness and shouted "Shree! I am completely fine , It is just because of the shock , I lost my conscious. Do not panic". Shree shouted "Just come to the door holding the seats". Sai said "Yes" and he managed to come to the front door. The young man and another guy helped Sai to get out of the bus. The moment he came out , Shree hugged him and wept. Sai convinced her saying "I am fine , Why are you crying , Nothing happened Right ?". Shree asked "Why are you here?". Sai said "I know you are going alone. I came to the town this weekend and booked tickets in the same bus to accompany you". Shree asked "Are you crazy ? Coming to Chennai , but you have to go Banglore". Sai said "It is not a problem at all , I will catch a train or a bus from Chennai to Banglore". Shree said looking into his eyes "You come for me.... all the way here ? " and smiled. Sai naughtily smiled and nodded.
I'm weak headed
By the time, there came four ambulances and a police jeep. The guy and Sai went near the van and explained everything. Remaining people who got hurt were rescued out of the bus. The people who are completely fine requested the policeman to leave them to get a bus and reach Chennai. There was a doctor in the ambulance and she checked the people who was about to leave in the next bus and said "You are all Okay , but just go to Chennai and have a complete check up without fail". The police man got every detail and a signature from each person. He asked the people to get into his jeep and dropped them in Trichy. He too helped them to get a bus to Chennai. Shree sat near Sai and was holding his hands tightly as she could not come out of what had happened, especially the moment she saw Sai in that situation. Her heart stopped pumping. Her mind started imagining things which didn't happen. She was totally haunted by the incident. Sai said seeing her face "What happened to you ? I thought you were bold and also the man , what is his name?.... , Ahhh Akash , He praised you being such a strong headed girl". Shree said "Ya , He is right , But when it comes to Sai , Shree becomes totally weak headed" and smiled. Sai said "No , You should not be like that , Understand?". Sai said "I think you need to sleep for some time. It is only few hours left to reach Chennai". Shree said "In the morning , before we reach Chennai , I need to call Akhila, She will be scared if she hear the accident news through the Travels person". Sai nodded. They both slept for some time. Shree calculated the actual arriving time and said "This is the right time to call Akhila , She would go to the travels to pick me up". Shree hurried and saw Aakash sitting by their side. Shree asked "Would you mind giving your phone to me ? . I need to call my sister". Aakash said "Ya of course. How can I deny when a beautiful girl asks this help". Sai saw him with a tricky smile and Shree blinked. Aakash said "Ohhh ok ok ok ok .. I was just kidding , Here you go . Take the phone".

Shree dialed Akhila's number and said everything happened. Akhila was totally shocked but she was happy that nothing happened to Shree. Shree didn't open her mouth to Akhila about Sai. Sai said " I'll drop you till you reach Akhila. But , I promise you that Akhila won't see me". Shree nodded. She handed over the phone to Aakash. After 5 minutes , Aakash took his phone and saved the number which Shree dialed. They reached Chennai bus stand , Sai went to a shop to buy a water bottle. By the time Aakash said to Shree "I know you both love each other. It may be odd if I say you this , you may also see me as a Villain, but never mind". Shree was looking at him and nodded. Aakash continued "If you guys break up , Kindly let me know". Shree saw him surprisingly and asked "What ?". Shree pitied him and smiled "Ya ! Sure". Aakash said "I saved your sister's number. If fate helps me , I'll definitely see you again and I pray to god that you both should break up" and twinkled. By the time Sai came , Aakash shook his hands with Sai and said "You are a lucky guy . Take care , This is my mobile number and my card. Any time you can call me for any help". Shree smiled and said "Bye , You too take care. By the by, It is nice to meet you". Aakash smiled, bade bye to them and left the place.

Akhila came to pick up Shree. Sai saw Akhila and told Shree "Akhila came , you go to her. I'll catch next bus to Banglore. Don't worry about me". Shree couldn't leave his hands and said "How do I know you reached Banglore?". Sai said "I will give a blank message from Banglore number to Akhila's phone. Check on that". Shree said "Okay". Her hands hated to leave Sai's hands. Akhila saw Shree and came near her and asked "Nothing happened to you right ?". Shree said "Ya , I am fine". They both got an auto. Shree sat inside the auto and saw Sai waiving his hands behind a bus. Shree's heart became heavy. They both reached the Women's hostel. The hostel was congested. Akhila introduced Shree to the hostel warden and a few girls on the way to the room in the 2nd floor. Akhila said "Monthly rent is 4000 Rs, But you have come here as a guest , Guest rent per day is 200 Rs , So , we should hurry to get a job and then rent a room". Though the room was small , it has all the facilities, Two single cots , a closet, a heater, Air conditioned, an attached bathroom , a toilet and an extension phone too. Akhila said "It is two people per room". Shree asked "Who is the other girl residing with you" . Akhila said "Swarna! She just got a job in an MNC bank, She has gone to her native place. You should also try in that bank. Recruitment is going on. Okay.... First you fresh up, I will bring tea , breakfast and lunch for you, If we go late , everything will be done". Akhila took a flask and some containers to take the food. Shree said "I am also coming" and helped her. They both went to the first floor. Food and tea were kept on a table. They both grabbed some and went to the room.
They will mock at you that you are from village
Akhila said "You take rest today. We are going to an interview tomorrow to a company. I got permission from office and will accompany you". Shree nodded. After few hours Akhila went to get a bath and kept the phone on the bed. Shree saw the mobile beeping with a new message. Shree hurried and saw a blank message. Shree was happy that Sai reached Banglore safe. She noted down the number and deleted the number. Shree slept for a while and prepared for the Interview. The next day , Akhila and Shree started. They reached the place in an auto. It was a five star motel. Shree haven't seen a five star motel in her life time. She saw the place with surprise. Akhila said "Don't react like this , If some one sees you , they will mock at you that you are from village". Shree said "Let them think , what is wrong in it, If city people comes to the village , they see the green field like this right ? The same here". Akhila said "That's enough . Please". Shree smiled and said "Okay". Shree said "Only at first sight , I like these , Keep on looking at this more than five minutes gives me a real headache". The first batch for the interview been called. Shree went inside. It was a group discussion. People talked English very fast and they were too western in their dressing. Shree's turn came. She spoke slow and clear. She been selected to the Group II discussion. Out of 20 people two or three would be selected. Now the topic they gave was little advanced. Shree said "I don't have any idea on that". The person said "Just try something". Shree said "No, If I don't know , That's it , I won't blabber something for the sake of the interview". The person said "I will select you , If you try talking few lines. Please try ...". and the person continued "We are taking people for voice process , so please". Shree said "Sorry ! Madam I am not interested in voice process. Till now I was not aware that this interview is for voice process". The interview was done and two people been selected . Shree came out with her file and said "I am not selected". Akhila said "It is fine. I brought you here , just for an experience". Shree smiled.
A Beautiful Office Environment
She attended another interview and she failed in the last round. This time she was really upset. It was going to be a week. Shree felt that she was a great burden to Akhila. She thought if she was not going to get a job , What will her family do for their financial needs ?. She said Akhila "Can you get me any job like receptionist or something?". Akhila looked at her and said "Are you nuts ? Wait ! You just attended few interviews . Some people are searching job for years . Don't come to a conclusion . Keep on trying. Okay ?". Shree nodded. Swarna entered their room. Swarna said "Hai Akhila ! Is this your sister. She is cute . I just came from my native place". She saw Shree and said "Nice to meet you". Shree smiled and said "Me too". Akhila said Swarna "Shree has an interview tomorrow in your Bank'. Swarna said "Oh good ! All the best ! Do well". The next day Akhila and Shree started to the bank to attend the written interview. Shree was called inside. It was a beautiful office . She was given a seat in the workplace. They gave a question paper which should be completed in 45 minutes. She finished the paper in 30 minutes. She looked around . She liked the office environment and the infrastructure. She saw hundreds of people attending the exam and worried if she should be selected out of these hundreds . She came out and saw Akhila sitting in the reception. They been informed to handover her resume to the receptionist. Akhila wrote one of her friend's name in the resume "Valli , NLP Team". Akhila left Shree in hostel and went to her office and checked on Shree then there through the landline phone in the hostel.
She stepped forward
Shree was thinking about the interview. She decided that she want to work in that bank. She has only a question inside her " Will I be selected ?". She prayed to her Raghavendra swamy. She said to the small picture of Raghavendra Swamy which she carried in her purse "You very well know what I should get " and kept the picture close to her heart. She didn't get any response from the bank. After two days , In the evening Akhila came jumping in happiness "Hey Hooo, You been selected in the written test. Your interview been scheduled day after tomorrow . Prepare well. My inner heart says , you would definitely get job here". Shree smiled and started preparing for the interview. Akhila said "I spoke with Valli , my friend. She too works there. She said there is only one interview which covers both technical and HR". So prepare for both". Shree said "Yes!". Shree had a day to prepare. She prepared well and the interview day arrived. She went to the Bank office and saw hundreds of people wandering. She realized everyone came for the interview. Akhila left Shree's hands and said "Go and register your name with the receptionist". Shree hesitated and said "You too come with me". Akhila said "No ... From now on You need to handle everything by yourself". Shree blinked and said "Okay" and went forward a step. Shree was waiting to be called. Shree had a copy of resume in her hand and was deeply seeing that. She saw "Reference : Valli , NLP team". Shree waived her hands to Akhila who was standing outside the glass door. Akhila hurried inside and asked "What?". Shree asked "What is NLP means?". Akhila said "I don't know! Wait , I'll call Valli and ask her". Akhila called her and said Shree "It is NetherLand Processing ". Shree said "Okay". Shree was called inside. She walked and saw a room which had glass walls . She saw two man sitting inside. One man looked determined and strict. Another man looked friendly and smiling. She tried to enter the room. She couldn't open the door. Shree said to herself "Oh my god ! Save me. Please Door..Open up. !! Don't do this to me".
And now I can hear you saying "Did she open the door? What happened? How did she performed the Interview?". And I say "Please wait patiently till next Friday. Interesting things been waiting :)"
Synopsis:
Shree met Priya's parents on college day. She got the best outgoing student award in the college. She received a letter from an unknown person. She explained to her parents about the letter. Kalpana talked to Shree and her friends in an insulting way. Semester exams and the college farewell were over . Shree was very happy expecting to join in M.Sc and continue her higher studies. Akhila said that wont be possible and would discuss with her while coming home that week.
It is beautiful
Next week Akhila came home. Akhila said "Get ready , we are going out". Mom asked "Where?". Dad smiled as if he knows the answer. Dad said "I just spoke with that construction man. If we start after an hour , we can go and have a look". Shree was puzzled and had no idea what they were talking about. Mom and Shree were very curious and started to the place, On the way Mom and Shree were nagging Akhila with so many questions. Akhila with a smile said "Be patient ! You will know in few minutes". They took an auto and reached the place. Akhila said to the auto driver "Stop .. stop . It is here". The auto halted before a brand new house. Shree asked Akhila "Are we going to visit someone?, But who is in this house ? your friend ?. Oh no .. It is locked". Akhila smiled and opened the house gate with a key. Shree looked at Mom and said "What is happening?". Akhila said "First both of you ....Come in". Shree and Mom went inside. The home was like a small palace. It had a beautiful balcony, garden, a fantastic terrace, a big hall with semi furnished closets, A beautiful pooja room, two bed rooms with attached toilets and fantastic kitchen. Most of the rooms are decorated with high quality tiles and granite. The living hall entrance door was perfectly decorated with a wooden art. Akhila asked "Mom and Shree , how was the home?". Shree said "It is beautiful ? Can you say why we are here ?". Akhila said "I left my lecturer job in the college".
That's Impossible , But you look pitiful
Shree and Mom was stunned. Shree said "Are you nuts ?". Mom exclaimed "What are you saying ?". Akhila said "Do not panic. I got a new job in IT field which is my dream. I have planned to buy this home for us. I have already applied loan. I came here just to make confirmation to the builder". Shree couldn't believe what was happening. Akhila continued "I have applied a long leave in my office. We need to do house warming function and need to get everything set in this home before I go". Mom smiled and had tears in her eyes. Mom hugged Akhila and said "My daughter is the smartest girl. This is not your end, there is much more to achieve and God bless you". Shree blinked in shock. Dad was smiling seeing everything. Akhila said Mom looking at Shree "See her face" and giggled. Shree smiled at Akhila and asked "Are you not kidding right ? Is this really going to be our home ?" and jumped. Every hair at her back neck stood up. Shree said "I need to see the home again" and visited each and every room" . She touched the tiles and the marbles. Though the house is lifeless, she could feel the love of Akhila towards her family in it. She ran to the balcony , garden and upstairs. Akhila and Shree ran to the upstairs and shouted "We ..are... buying... this house..". Shree said "The bedroom which is near the living room is mine" and twinkled. Akhila said "Ya ... sure . The big one is for Mom and dad.. Can you give some room in your bed while I come here .. Please". Shree playfully smiled and said "That's impossible ..But you look pitiful, so I'll think on it". Akhila gently patted on her head.

Shree ran to the garden and pointed her index finger and said "Here , I'll plant red roses, Here pink one ..Here jasmine , Here banana tree , Here drumstick , Here pomegranate.. Here lemon , Here greens ..Here curry leaves ....". Akhila said "Phew ... Finished ?". Shree continued "And Here coconut and outside a Neem tree. That's it". Shree again hugged Akhila and jumped in happiness saying "Even now I couldn't believe". Akhila said "Mom and Shree , you like the home ?". Shree said "What question is this? Will anyone ask wage to taste the sugar cane?". Everyone reached home. They all discussed the date for housewarming function. Akhila asked Mom "Can I register the home in your name or dad ?". Mom said "No, This is not our property . You are buying in your salary, So register in your name" and continued "If so, it won't be a problem in future and the property should not be divided as it belongs to you". Shree said "Yes , Mom is right. Register in your name". Mom said Shree "Do not mistake me. Whatever you both buy , register in your names". Shree said "Mom . Come on ...You need not explain these to me. I completely understand what you are trying to convey. In fact , I'm so happy that you told this" and smiled. Mom gently patted on Shree's head. Akhila and Dad did all the formalities and completed the registration.

Akhila said "Shree! You can invite your friends too". Akhila and Shree both designed a simple invitation and gave it to the printing press. The invitation got ready in the next two days. Akhila invited some of her friends. Mom invited her friends and some relatives. Shree went with her Dad to give invitation for Priya , Shiba , Mona and Mina. Shree said to her dad "Appa ! Can I give invitation to another important friend who is near by". Dad said "Ya . but. I thought you gave to everyone . Who is that ?". Shree said "His name is Guru". Dad was surprised "You got a boy friend ? How come?". Shree said "He was Priya and Shiba's friend and He became a good friend of mine too. He also helped me in my final year projects". Dad smiled and said "Ya ..we can". They both went to Guru's home. Shree pressed the calling bell. A lady came and asked "Hai , May I know who are you ?". Shree said "I am Guru's friend. I come here to invite you to our housewarming function". The lady welcomed them in and said "'I'm Guru's Mom. Glad to meet you. Take your seat. He is inside and will join in you in a minute". Shree smiled and both of them took the seat in the couch. In few minutes, Guru entered the living room and said "Hello Shree .What a surprise?" and he also greeted Shree's dad. Shree gave the invitation and said "You are not invited . You are expected". Guru smiled and said "Oh.. This is great . I will definitely join you in the function . Congrats". Shree and dad bade bye to Guru and left the place. The day before the housewarming function , Shree , Mom and Akhila went to the home and cleaned it. Everything been arranged. The housewarming day arrived.
I need to do my M.Sc - Dream shattered again
In the function , Shree was flying like a butterfly. Mom and dad were proud of Akhila and were overwhelmed in happiness. Akhila was so happy that she bought her own home for her parents. As soon as the milk boils over and the coconut is broken the house became a home. Shree became so attached to that home. She showed each and every room in the home to her friends . Guru arrived to the function. Shree introduced Guru to each and everyone of her family friend and relatives. Guru was so happy and felt how important he was to Shree. Delicious food been served. The function was a great success. The next day , all their things been moved to the new home. Shree was thrilled and even then, she couldn't believe that she is going to live in that house. They arranged everything in their brand new home. Akhila said "Only a day left, to join my office. I am leaving tomorrow" and gave some books to Shree. Shree saw those books. It was all aptitude books to prepare for interview. Shree said "But , I need to do my M.Sc". Akhila looked at Shree and said "I know , But my advice is , you can join in a job. Because as we got a house now , Half of my salary would go for EMI and rest for my hostel charges , food etc and It's time for you to support the family". Shree thought for a while. Akhila said "Prepare for the interview. I anytime will call you for the interview. I sent your resumes to three companies. This is your resume ..have a look at these". Shree was confused and couldn't think. Akhila realized Shree was not happy and convinced her "Do not worry , You can continue your studies while you work". Though Shree was not much interested ,She had no choice rather to support her family financially. She started preparing for the aptitude tests and interviews.
Chennai is so far , How could I?
After a week , Akhila called Shree and said "Next week , You are starting to Chennai. Be ready with all your certificates". Shree said "So , Are you coming to pick me up ?". Akhila said "No, you are coming alone". Shree was astounded. Shree exclaimed " I never been alone to anyplace. Chennai is so far. How could I?" . Akhila said "Do not overthink . Dad will accompany you to the bus stop and will let you take the bus and I will be here to receive you. Do not worry and the bus will be halted in a hotel in between . You can get down to use the rest room if needed and get back to the bus safe. Dad will talk to the driver and he is very much known to Dad, So do not worry". Shree again had no choice. That fine day , as Mom and dad went to some friend's place and left the mobile phone in home . Shree texted to Sai to call her. Sai called her and Shree explained about everything that Akhila said and her decision to get a job in Chennai. Sai heard everything and said "Do as Akhila says , She will do always good to you". Shree nodded and disconnected the phone. The day arrived. Mom gave her dinner and said "Take care". Dad dropped her in the bus stand. Shree took the first seat just behind the driver. The bus started. Shree's heart was heavy to leave her Dad ,mom and her dream as well. A pair of eyes were watching her from the last seat. Shree was shedding tears continuously for an hour. She was starring outside through the window. After some time , she felt cold and closed the window. There was no one sitting near her and the seats by her sides were empty. Most of the seats behind were filled except one or two.
Hikkabooo...
It was almost 1.00 am, Every one slept. Shree felt someone been watching her all the time. She couldn't sleep. Suddenly Shree felt something wrong with the bus. In a fraction of second she realized , Bus got crashed and lose its control and was sliding side wards to a shallow pit. As , she was awake , She got hold of the iron bars in front of her and took the bag with the other hand and put on the window where she was about to collide her head. There was a great rumbling sound of the wheels and she realized the bus was thrashed to the ground to its side and she was lying on the window. It was dark everywhere and only one light at the back was blinking. She closed her eyes for a minute opened and saw moon outside the opposite window. She was able to see the seats. She somehow managed to go to the next seat by holding the bars in front. She was shocked seeing some people are hurt and were unconscious. She was terrified seeing a baby crying rested on a man's back. The baby was thrown on the man's back from her mother's arms. She saw the baby and said "Sshhhh no crying .. Hikkabooo ...".The baby stopped crying for a minute hearing Shree's voice and again started crying.
Is anyone conscious ?
She put her bag on her back and struggled to go to the driver seat. He was badly hurt and was unconscious. She held the bar tight and saw a man who was conscious and he too struggled to come out. Shree waived her hands and shouted ""Is anyone conscious ?". Except that man and the baby cry , No body responded. By the time, the man reached Shree and they both pulled the door hard and finally opened it. Shree said "Lift me up and take the baby first and give it to me". The man helped Shree to go out and the he too got his bag on his back. The man struggled to get the baby and handed to Shree . Shree wrapped the baby in a towel from her bag and kept it on the ground. Shree said "Do you have mobile phone?". The Man said "Yes , I do". Shree exhaled deeply and said "Call the emergency". The man dialed the emergency number and informed. Shree gave her hands to the man and helped him to get out of the bus. She struggled a lot and her hands ached.
My baby ..My Baby....
The man fell on Shree when he tried to come out. Shree saw the man. He was young and handsome. He looked at Shree and said "Your face is so bright even in this dark". Shree said "Is it... that important now ? Get off from me". He said "Ohh ..I am sorry". Shree said "Phew .. You look thin , but you are so heavy . What do you eat ?". The man smiled and fixed his gaze on her. He said "You are a strong and a bold girl too". Shree asked "Okay. You have a torch in your mobile?". The young man said "yes". Shree said "Turn it on". By the time Shree stood on the side of the bus and tried to open all the window for the air to get in. She took two water bottle from her side pouch of the bag. One was leaking and other was not. She took the leaking bottle and pour the water through the window on the person who were unconscious with the help of the torch light in the phone. People woke up from their giddiness. Shree shouted "You are safe . Don't worry. Try to come to the front door holding the seats". When the people came front , Shree and the young man helped the people to get out of the bus. The lady shouted "My baby ..My baby ". Shree said "Do not panic .. sister .. Your baby is with me , She is fine". The lady thanked Shree and blessed her. Shree smiled.
We are alive , It is a good omen
The young man looked at Shree and said "I am Aakash. What is your name ? Why are you coming to Chennai?". Shree was in action and also answered his question "I am Shree . I was going to an interview. How about you?". The young man said "I was working in Chennai and came to the town for vacation, Is this your first interview ?" . Shree nodded . The young man continued "So, you are coming for the first time for the interview. Met with a terrible accident and It is a bad Omen". Shree looked at him for a second and said "We are alive . It is a good omen" and continued her helping for the people. The young man said "I like you so much. Can you give your contact number ?". Shree said "I don't have mobile number, but I don't like you". The man blinked and smiled. Most of them been rescued. Only few were left. She repeated the same action through each window. When she opened the last window of the bus , She was terribly shocked. Shree shouted "Oh no ..........................". Tears rolled down. The young man was shocked to see Shree crying because he thought Shree was a bold girl. Shree shouted "Get up ...Get up.... Please Please. Why are you here ? ". It was her ......
And now , I can hear you saying "Suspense ... Who was in the bus? Who made Shree dumb struck? ".
And I say "Patience Patience ... Friday is not too far :)"
Synopsis
Shree pretended and promised to HOD about the love affair . HOD wants Shree to perform classical dance in the college day. The mocking of the classical dance teacher on her dance gestures made her to take more serious about the classical dance. She danced like a professional dancer in the rehearsal and made HOD proud and happy. The college annual day arrived.
The Resemblance
In home , Shree said her Mom and Dad about her getting best outgoing award and the classical dance performance. They were so happy and said Shree that they too would join her for the college annual day celebration. Akhila wished luck to Shree through phone and said she won't be able to see her dancing as she couldn't come. The college day arrived. That morning , Shree reached her college. She saw some visitors standing in the college gate . They were seemed to be like the parents of the students. While she crossed them, . There was a sweet tone "Shree" which made her to pause. She turned and saw a couple, of her parents age standing in front and smiling at her. She has never seen them before , but they resembled her most lovable person. In a fraction of second , she found out who they are. Shree exclaimed "Amma , Appa , How are you? ". They both were puzzled and said "Shree! You know us ?". Shree said "This is the first time I'm seeing you , But I know who you are. I am so glad to meet you". The couples were very happy that Shree was very jovial and friendly and conversed as if she knew them for years. She talked for fifteen minutes and said "I have some work , I'm performing in college day. Do not mistake me, I'll be right back. Wait in the visitors place, they would soon let you inside the college". The lady said "No issues , You carry on , I have brought lunch for you too. Do not eat in th Canteen. Okay ?". Shree naughtily smiled and asked "What you brought ?. I am always a fan of your cooking. So yummy" and twinkled. The lady blushed in happiness and tapped on her cheeks.
Always Be Hand in Hand
Shree left the place and went to her dance practice. During Lunch hour , She went to the place under a tree where she and her friends normally have lunch. But , they were not there. Shree searched and found the couples sitting under the tree with group of her class mates. She hurried to the place. The lady got excited seeing Shree and held her hands. She made Shree to sit near her. By the time Priya arrived to the place. Priya said "Mom! This is my friend Shree". The lady playfully said "There is no need of intro for a Mom and her daughter". Shree was overwhelmed of happiness. Priya's Mom added "Priya always keep on talking about you. That made me so curious to see you. She had said that she was always your partner in crime and shared all the funny and naughty things you all did in the college". Shree and Priya both giggled. Priya's dad said "I am so happy to see you girls being best friends which reminds me my college days. Do not leave your friendship for any reason" and continued "Shree!!,... Priya told me that you won the best outgoing student award. That is a prestigious award . Congratulations". Shree smiled and said "Thanks Appa. It's all your blessings". Priya's mom said "It is happy to see you both together. Always be hand in hand!". Shree and Priya enjoyed the lunch and got ready for the college day . Priya and Mona helped Shree in her make ups. The program started. Shree's parents too arrived. Priya and her parents sat along with Shree's parents and they became a very good family friends. Priya and a girl from another department sang the prayer song. Priya was little upset to get in the stage without Shree, however Shree consoled her as she couldn't come for the prayer song as she need to perform the dance as the first event.
Tears of joy
Shree's classical costume was marvelous and she was the point of focus where everybody gaze's rests. The HOD was blissful. The HOD came near Shree and said "Oh My girl! You look so pretty" . The HOD rested her palms on Shree's head and said "God Bless. Do well". Shree fell on her knees and got her blessings. She went to the stage and performed. The dance was a great treat to everyone's eyes. The HOD standing down the stage didn't take her eyes off from Shree. Once the performance was over. The HOD rushed and congratulated her. Priya too hugged Shree and said "Shree , You are rocking!". Shree been called to the stage for some prizes she won in cultural , sports and studies. Finally the most awaited prestigious award been announced. Shree humbly went to the stage and got the award. There was a thunder clap especially from her class , parents and friends. Tears of joy was popping its head. She came down the stage and gave the trophy to the HOD. Shree cried out of happiness .The HOD too was emotional and said "First show this to your parents". Shree nodded and went near her parents and showed the prize. Her parents gave a gentle pat and said "Good, Keep it up". Everyone around her seems to be really happy for her victory except her Mom. Shree felt something was bothering her , but couldn't ask her as the place was crowded. The National Anthem been sung . Everyone bade bye to each other and left the college.
Thunder - Shree got married to Sai
In an auto , Shree and her parents reached their home. Shree kept her trophy near Raghavendra swamy and changed her costume. She prayed for a minute and went to her bed. Her mom and dad came near her. Her mom opened a closet near her bed and took a folded paper which looked like an inland letter and handed to Shree. Shree was confused and asked "What is this?" . Shree's mom was furious and answered in a harsh tone "Read it , You will know". Shree saw her dad smiling at her and he said "Go Ahead and read it". Shree started reading the letter. She was astounded while reading the letter.
In the letter
Dear Shree's Mom and Dad,
I am writing this letter as a friend and a well wisher of your family. It is not important to know about me , but the message in this letter is very much important for you. Do not ignore this. This is regarding your daughter Shree. I hope you were aware that your daughter fell in love with a boy named Sai. The very shocking thing is.... she got married to Sai without your knowledge and She been often visiting Sai's home after her college. So , Beware that your daughter had been cheating you these days . Take necessary action on this.

Shree fixed her gaze on the wall and tears streamed down. Shree's Mom shouted "Are you been visiting Sai's home these days ?". Shree had no answer. Mom shouted "So being silent means you are a cheater right ?". Shree's father asked politely "Are you visiting his home?". Shree said "Yes". Mom started jumping to the sky and said "Drop dead!! I really feel like killing you. I thought everything was over and believed you. So , It means you got married to him as the letter stated?". Shree shouted "Amma .... I beg your pardon , Already I am so depressed reading the letter. What you saying is burning me" and took a deep breath and continued "Yes , I been visiting his home. but Someone who knows that I was visiting Sai's home would have written this letter and Not every single word is true in that letter. I am so curious that who is so so concerned about my life ?. If the person is telling 100 pct truth and if he is honest , he could have come and talk to us in person instead of this cowardice letter". Dad said "I still believe you. I know my daughter won't go to that extreme". Shree said "You can always count on me. I tell you now , Nothing will happen without your consent. You need to just believe me and let it go". Shree's mom calmed down and said "If I hear another time that you been visiting his home , You are toast". Shree looked blank . Dad got the letter from her hand and teared into pieces and threw it in the trash. Shree was so moved that her Dad believed her so much. She closed her eyes , took a deep breath and slept.
How come you get the award ?
The next day , Shree called Sai and told about the letter. Sai said "Never mind. I strongly doubt Kalpana. Let it be , ignore it and prepare well for your final semester exams". Shree said "Okay" and disconnected the call. That day in the college, Somebody tapped Shree's shoulders from behind. Shree turned and saw Kalpana smiling in a tricky way. Kalpana said "So... How are you ? I saw you getting the best outgoing award in the college day. Congrats.". Before Shree open her mouth to thank her. Kalpana continued "There are so many students in the college talented than you. How come you get this award ?". Shree smiled at her and said "Thanks. Ya of course there are many students who are talented. I do agree, But best outgoing student is given for all rounder". Kalapana giggled and said "So , you think you are an all rounder?". Shree smiled. Priya was furious and interfered "Shree ! Who is this ?". Shree smiled "Oh sorry . This is Kalpana , Sai's cousin". Priya chuckled and said "OH , That's why so much noise?.. I know a proverb called 'Empty vessels make much noise', How true is that ?". Kalpana was furious and said "Mind your tongue...... Shree ! Don't your friend have manner of speaking ?". Mona interfered "Hey Girl , you came and talking something. Priya is just responding to you in the same way as you talked. It is better if you talk in a right way". Shree showed an eye signal to Priya and Mona to be quiet. Shree said "Okay! Now tell me what you need to know ?. Just go to your department and ask your HOD about this. I suppose she has the answer why I been given this award".
That won't be possible
Kalpana said lethargically "Hmmm... Okay , But how things are going at your end ? Is it Okay ?". Shree understood and asked "What do you expect ? Can't you see? ". Kalpana said in a low tone "Ya , You seems to be happy". Shree said "Shree is always happy whatever happens.. Okay , I do understand how much you are concerned about me . Do not worry about me, You take care. Bye" and gave a wide smile. Kalpana couldn't tolerate the happiness of Shree and left the place in a great disappointment. The practical exams and the semester exams were over. There held a college farewell party and everyone bade bye to each other. Though , it is hard to leave the college and friends , everyone was excited to move to the next level in their life. Everyone had their plans. Some of her friends wants to do higher studies and some wants to get married and settle. Shree wanted to do M.Sc in physics. After her exams, Shree was staying at home , In a week , She got a call from Akhila. Akhila said "Shree , what is your plan for future ?". Shree said "I want to apply for M. Sc and continue my studies". Akhila said "I think that won't be possible. Next week I am coming home . we'll discuss". Shree was dumb struck.
And now , I can hear you saying , Will Shree would continue her higher studies ? What will happen to her goal of being a professor in a college ? Will that dream also be shattered ?" And I say "Wait and Watch this space next Friday :)"
